The Raptors Conservation Journal Writing Programme, conducted in collaboration with WWF, brought together participants of different age groups to explore the fascinating world of birds of prey.

The session was led by Ms. B. Divya, Zoo Education Officer, IGZP, who guided participants through the art of journaling and storytelling with a focus on raptor conservation.

As part of the activity, participants explored interactive panels featuring fascinating facts, vivid imagery and conservation messages about birds of prey. With notebooks in hand, they documented their thoughts and observations, learning about the unique adaptations, hunting techniques and ecological importance of raptors through reflections, sketches and creative writing.

The programme concluded with an engaging gliding activity, allowing participants to connect more closely with the flight patterns and behaviour of raptors. The experience made the programme both educational and memorable, inspiring participants to develop a deeper appreciation for birds of prey and their conservation.
