Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam, celebrated World Dhole Day on 28 May 2025 by organising a Drawing Competition for school and college students.

The event aimed to raise awareness about the endangered Dhole (Cuon alpinus), also known as the Asiatic Wild Dog, and highlight its important role in maintaining ecological balance.

Students enthusiastically participated in the competition, expressing their creativity through vibrant artwork depicting the life, habitat and significance of the Dhole.
